Lateral flow assays (LFAs) are essential devices for point-of-care testing of a wide range of diseases. Their sensitivity depends on the variable properties of the conjugated nanoparticle probes that produce a signal in response to a specific biomolecule. As a result, developing LFAs that are rapid, stable, sensitive, specific, and affordable can be challenging.
Download this research review by nanoComposix to learn about the latest applications of gold nanoparticles and nanoshells for developing robust, reliable LFAs.
