Laboratory-grade water is necessary as a mobile phase for HPLC and UHPLC. This water can be purchased bottled or made in-house using a water purification system. Over time, water purification systems are more cost-effective than bottled water, and in-house water performs equivalently to bottled water in HPLC analyte tests.
Download this application note from Sartorius to learn more about how in-house produced water compares to bottled HPLC-grade water and to compare cannabis extraction and quantification results using both water sources.
