Automated library preparation allows for higher throughput and less hands-on time for researchers and clinicians, particularly for complex next generation sequencing (NGS) assays. Here, a 170 gene panel assay was automated using a liquid handling workstation, resulting in up to 14-times greater throughput with no decrease in result quality.
