AN IN-DEPTH INTRODUCTION TO HYBRIDOMA-BASED ANTIBODY DEVELOPMENT

GenScript2_500x250

Hybridoma generation is a five-step process that takes advantage of a host animal’s natural ability to generate functional, highly specific, high-affinity monoclonal antibodies. The result is the fusion of an antibody-producing B-lymphocyte with an immortal myeloma cell, creating an immortal B cell that generates monoclonal antibodies. This white paper introduces the process of creating hybridomas and using them for monoclonal antibody production.
